- Responsible for setting the criteria for the grants and awards
- Responsible for awarding the grants and awards.
- Offer advice and guidance on membership issues e.g expelling a member.
- Responsible for ensuring the delegates that receive the grant fulfill the expectations of the award.
- Work with the Conference committee for the BIORD conference
