B.D.S (PAK), Master’s in Experimental Oral Pathology (UK), PhD scholar, Lancaster University (UK), MIADR, MIAOP, FICD (USA), FPFA (USA).

Dr. Rabia Sannam Khan, a dentist by profession, is a researcher with many publications to her name. She has published several research papers and has contributed to book chapters in the field of Dentistry, Biomaterials and Oncology. She is also an editor, reviewer and editorial board member of many dental journals.
Rabia did her BDS in Pakistan and subsequently began her lecturing career there in the Department of Dental Biology, Pathology and Oral Diagnostics. Rabia has completed Oral Surgery Postgraduate Training from Tsurumi University School of Dental Medicine, in Yokohama, Japan., and holds a Master’s in Experimental Oral Pathology from Queen Mary University of London.
Currently, Rabia is completing a PhD in Bioengineering at Lancaster University, this is a collaborative project with the NHS.

Rabia’s research interests and expertise are in the fields of dental education, dental implants, oral oncological biomarkers, dental biomaterials, salivary proteome, vibrational spectroscopy, machine learning, artificial intelligence and virtual dentistry.
